I am starting to create a new piece, experimenting with a two-paneled weave.

For Sunwave~, the master time-based-media engineer and my technical advisor Maurice Schechter, with whom I've been working throughout 2025 on my video restoration, is organizing a master archive, with museum-ready, highly organized files, from video and audio source material, to different edit iterations, to the finished exhibition masters (4K, 2K, Prores, DCPs, UHD, DPXs, 7:1, 5:1, Stereo, Binaural).

I've updated the website with An Embodied Commons, a beautiful scholarly essay written by Agnese Fanizza, a brilliant young art historian, curator, and writer working at the intersection of art, architecture, and design. Check out her article here!

I had TWO private behind-the-scenes tours last week. At MoMA’s drawings and prints dept. I saw a beautiful group of drawings by the fantastic Gego, and pieces by Kokoschka, Klimt and Malevich. At the Textile Museum at GW University in Washington DC - the only textile museum in the US - I saw the upcoming exhibition equestrian textiles being installed and spent a long time at the Cotsen Center's archives of nearly 4000 textile fragments. I saw gorgeous textiles from 7 BC and on, and met a French science fellow who researchers metallic threads in antique Chinese textiles, using protein analysis to study how they were made and woven, using animal skin glue, paper, and gold/silver leaf.

I am very happy to have had a few fruitful studio visits this month. Please stay tuned for some upcoming exciting news!

It is the last weekend to see the exhibition Primeval Ground [deep, unfathomable] at Westbeth gallery in the West Village. I am very touched by Susan's terrific curatorial work, by how beautiful the show is, and the many interesting interactions between the different works of all of us 10 artists. It is a rich and complex tapestry. As the cherry on top, we all seem to adore each other and have become a very friendly group.

I was in the gallery yesterday and everyone that came by commented on how beautiful the work is embodied in the large space, how satisfying the show is.

I am very happy with the three pieces I am showing, and their presence in the space among all the other great work. The last piece, Essene Black Madonna, was started in Paris and finished just a few days before the show opened.

I am getting ready to close my studio in Chelsea and move it to Paris in early March. It looks like my new studio will have beautiful views!

I've arrived to Paris a few days ago. I'll be spending the month here, finalizing work on spatial sound design for my video art piece Sunwave~. I'm working with two great sound designers from IRCAM, using awesome field recordings of wind sounds, which were recorded for this piece by George Vlad, together with fragments of music composed for the piece by Ran Bagno.

I'm also working on a medium-sized weave for a piece I'll be showing at a group exhibition which will open early January in New York, curated by the artist Susan Rowe Harrison

I’ve just finished the commissioned photo/weave construction piece for the NY apt of private collectors. I’ve been weaving long hours to finalize it in time and I’m loving the way it came out. It’s leaving the studio tomorrow for installation. I’m looking forward to seeing photos of it in its new home. I’m also looking forward to starting development and  experimentation on a new construction piece in the studio in the next few days.

Last week I finished working on the color corrections and video post-production of Sunwave~. I’m currently in conversations with very interesting spatial sound designers, to possibly do a residency next month to create the final dimensional sound design, while I also have an awesome sound person record wind for the piece on location this week, exactly where the piece was shot. He’s using 4-8 microphones for this recording, leaving the mics out overnight to catch some good wind sounds.

I’m excited for an upcoming group exhibition that I’ll be part of, opening in January. Stay tuned!

I am in the final stages of post production on my Sunwave~ video piece. It's a piece I started developing and shooting in the desert a very long time ago. A true testament to overcoming every possible trial and tribulation known (and unknown) to any video artist, mixed with the most auspicious coincidences and magical occurrences, this piece is coming along beautifully now! Please keep your eyes on this space to get updates on showings. You can see a small preview here

I am also working on a commissioned photo-weave construction for a private client. It is a pleasure to create - I am so grateful for this commission and for my time in the studio working on it.

Rumors aside about the struggling art world, I am happy to report that I recently sold a framed collage piece directly from the studio. It looks gorgeous in the collectors' beautiful space.
